Dr. Anthony Ishak attended the University of Florida for veterinary school graduating in 2002.  He completed an internship at North Carolina State University in 2003 and a residency in veterinary internal medicine in 2006 at Colorado State University.  He worked as a veterinary internist at Florida Veterinary Specialists (now BluePearl Veterinary Specialists) in Tampa, Florida also completing a residency in veterinary cardiology in 2014.  Dr. Ishak currently sees internal medicine and cardiology patients in Tampa working with other cardiologists on advanced cardiac procedures including Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair of the mitral valve and left atrial decompression for advanced heart disease and heart failure.   In his free time, he enjoys wildlife photography, reading, traveling, hiking and spending time with his two dogs and five cats.
